Our Philosophy

Life is full of challenges, and while our minds and emotions are powerful guides, they can sometimes feel overwhelming, confusing, or even like they’re working against us. When our thoughts and feelings are unbalanced, we may find ourselves stuck in patterns—whether it’s stress, self-doubt, avoidance, or unhelpful coping—that keep us from living the lives we want.

At Life on Purpose, we believe that healing and growth come from understanding these patterns and learning how to shift them in meaningful ways. We know there is no single path to wellness, which is why our team offers a range of therapeutic approaches—drawing from evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and more. What unites us is a shared commitment to helping you uncover the tools, insights, and strengths you already carry within you.

Our philosophy is simple: change is possible, and you don’t have to navigate it alone. With compassion, curiosity, and collaboration, we work alongside you to create the clarity, resilience, and confidence needed to live a life that feels more aligned, more connected, and more fulfilling.

If you’re ready to begin your journey toward lasting change, we invite you to connect with us. Together, we’ll find the right path forward for you.

For many people, healing isn’t just a personal journey—it’s a political one. It’s about making space in systems that weren’t built with us in mind. I have a passion for working with LGBTQIA+ individuals and couples, teens and children, as well as folks experiencing depression, anxiety, and life transitions.

My role is to support, challenge, and collaborate with you in an affirming space that honors and celebrates your identity. I lead with cultural humility and deep respect for client autonomy. I don’t pretend to have all the answers, but I will walk alongside you and support the messiness of the therapeutic process.

Every client has a unique lived experience. I draw from a range of therapeutic modalities, including Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), somatic practices, parts work, and mindfulness-based approaches. Tying these together is a trauma-informed lens that honors each person’s story, nervous system, and pace for growth.

I aim to show up as my authentic self, as that’s what I hope to help clients do, too. Outside the therapy room, I challenge myself to regularly try things that scare me—it’s how I stay connected to the growth process I invite my clients into. I believe that courage often looks like simply showing up. I’d be honored to be a part of your healing journey.

Many of the women I work with appear confident and capable to the outside world, yet inside they often feel anxious, disconnected, or weighed down by self-doubt. They describe themselves as always “holding it together,” while quietly second-guessing their choices, putting others first, and wondering why life doesn’t feel as fulfilling as it should.

With more than 12 years of experience as a therapist, I bring both professional expertise and personal perspective into the work I do. My approach blends evidence-based therapy rooted in CBT with mindful self-compassion and an understanding of how the brain and body shape our thoughts and emotions. These tools not only support meaningful breakthroughs for my clients, but they’ve also been transformational in my own life.

Clients often share that they feel a tremendous sense of relief when they realize their struggles are not a sign of weakness, but a normal response of the human brain in an ever-evolving, often chaotic world. When we shift the focus from “what’s wrong with me” to “how can I work with my brain instead of against it,” space opens up for healing, self-trust, and new possibilities.

My goal is to help you move beyond self-criticism and people-pleasing, and toward a life that feels grounded, authentic, and purposeful. In our work together, you’ll learn practical strategies to calm anxiety, navigate relationship challenges with more clarity, and finally begin to show up for yourself with the same compassion you’ve always given to others.
